The article examines the theoretical approaches to the interpretation of a managerial decision. It researches the content of the basic functions of intellectual property management, and formulates a comprehensive definition of managerial decisions in the field of intellectual property. The article builds a model of managerial decision-making in the life cycle of objects of intellectual property law and analyzes the factors affecting the efficiency of management decisions.
