The analysis of existent methods of increasing longevity of bodies of quarry dump trucks is given in the article. The most effective and the cheapest method of increasing longevity of bodies is offered due to their re-enforcement transversal elements. The results of experimental researches are presented on determination of optimum parameters of re-enforcement of body’s transversal elements.
